Job Summary:
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) registered nurse position is located in Aiken, South Carolina. This role involves delivering specialized patient care for neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients within a multidisciplinary critical care environment. The nurse will utilize various advanced technologies and adhere to regulatory requirements to provide optimal care for complex patient needs.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift; 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale); BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) highly desired; RN (Registered Nurse) license required; Cerner electronic health records experience required; 2 years ICU acute care experience required; must reside at least 100 miles away from the facility.
• Preferred Qualifications: Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification with Physical Skills Training course completion highly preferred.
• Additional Information: The ICU unit cares for a wide range of high-acuity patients utilizing advanced technology such as ventilators, cardiac monitors, arterial lines, PICC lines, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, and continuous renal replacement therapy. The role involves fulfilling the needs of patients, families, and community through a variety of patient care functions aligned with licensure, certification, and regulatory standards.
