Padre Island Dr. Corpus Christi, TX Floor: 2nd and 3rd Building: General Information Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds -24 Number of Staff 50 Type of staff: o Day Shift 1 CNC 12 RN s, 1 Unit Secretary1-3 sitters/week o Night Shift 1 CNC 12 RN s, 1-3 sitters/week Patient Ratios 1:1 or :2 Type of equipment Vents, Swans, Impella s, Balloon pumps EMR - Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Lack of ICU experience Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Level 1 or 2 trauma experience CV surgery experience List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Intubation, Central lines, bronchoscopy, EVD s, ICP monitoring, Swan Pacers, Bolts Best personality Fit: Excellent customer Service skills REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS, ACLS Floating Area(s): Doctors ICU Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Royal Blue Unit Guidelines/Policies: Weekends and On call(if any) Every other weekend, May be placed on call if not needed on the shift they are scheduled to work but only for that shift.
