This position involves providing critical care to patients admitted to the ICU, developing individualized care plans, and utilizing advanced nursing skills. The ICU RN will serve as a patient advocate, supporting patients and their families through education and direct care.

Position: ICU RN (Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse)
Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Licensed and currently registered as a Registered Nurse in the state of permanent residency; American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); minimum of 2 years of critical care experience; NIH Stroke Scale Certification obtained during orientation.
Additional Information: Orientation includes 8 hours of non-billable training. Call-off policy allows cancellation up to 12 hours prior to scheduled shifts. Responsibilities include monitoring acutely ill patients, administering medications, and patient education. Charting is conducted using EPIC electronic medical record system. Work may include assigned day, evening, or night shifts, and occasional overtime may be required.
