Job Description:

Registered Nurse specializing in ICU care responsible for providing advanced patient care in critical health situations.

Responsibilities:

• Titrate drips including any cardiac drip, insulin, and sedation.
• Read, interpret, and document monitor strips using GE monitors with tele tech oversight.
• Assist with RT equipment such as Vents, Cpap, BiPap, and High Flow as necessary.
• May float to PCU or occasionally MedSurg, maintaining standard nurse-to-patient ratios.

Requirements:

• Active RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.
• Must pass an open-book exam with a 90% score during orientation.
• Compliance with the fingernail policy prohibiting artificial nails.
