Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Intensive Care Units (ICUs) is sought for a facility in the metropolitan area of Saint Louis, Missouri. This position involves floating across multiple critical care units including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac / Heart and Vascular, Neurology, Medicine, and COVID-19 units. The role requires strong, independent nursing skills to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Missouri or compact nursing license (or eligibility for license in hand); 2 years of ICU experience; certifications in ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, and OCN; and ability to float to multiple ICUs including Trauma, Oncology, Cardiac / Heart and Vascular, Neurology, Medicine, and COVID-19 units.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with hemodynamic interpretation (Swans), Impella, ECMO, Vasoactive drips, CRRT, vents, IV starts, Telemetry, Conscious Sedation, ICP, PA lines, Level 1 Trauma, and triage experience are highly desirable. Possession of additional certifications such as CCRN, TNCC, and ONS is preferred.
  • Additional Information: The position involves floating to various inpatient units based on census needs, including non-critical care units and patient sitter roles if necessary. The unit supports interdisciplinary collaboration with teams such as IV, respiratory, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response. The candidate must comply with facility-specific licensure, certification, and compliance deadlines.
