Job Summary Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Sioux City, Iowa. This role involves providing critical care to patients within a Level 3 Trauma Center. The position requires collaboration within an interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment during night shifts.
Job Details
Position: ICU Registered Nurse
Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: 2+ years of ICU experience, Iowa state license, active BLS (AHA preferred, ARC or US Military certificates accepted), active ACLS (AHA preferred, ARC or US Military certificates accepted), active PALS (AHA preferred, ARC or US Military certificates accepted), valid drivers license
Schedule: Night shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Additional Information: The role involves working with diverse patient populations including cardiac, trauma, and neuro cases. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses. Possession of a TNCC certification is preferred and will be required if the contract is extended. First-time travelers are welcome. Candidates must be at least 50 miles from the facility and have a skills checklist specific to ICU. The position requires working 2 of 3 winter holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.
