Job Summary ICU Nurse Location: Michigan. This position involves providing bedside nursing care, collaborating with physicians to develop patient care plans, and overseeing nursing functions within the Intensive Care Unit. The role requires leadership in integrating evidence-based practices and guiding team members to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
Position Description: Assumes leadership responsibilities including delegation, coordination, and evaluation of nursing care, as well as participating in patient conferences and discharge planning.
Required Qualifications: Valid state nursing license in Michigan; at least 2 years of ICU experience; certifications including BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS, and NIHSS; shift schedule is days, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 10/12/2026 and ending on 01/11/2027.
Additional Information: Candidate should be comfortable floating to Emergency Department and Step Down units. Experience with neuro-surgical procedures and open-heart care is preferred. The role involves providing care for complex patients, including those requiring neuro and open-heart surgery.
Submission Requirements: Candidates must demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and hold current certifications.
