Position Description: Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU at a healthcare facility in Saint Albans, VT.
Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: VT RN license or multistate compact license; BLS; ACLS; NIHSS; 3-4 years critical care experience preferred; 1 year minimum experience required.
Shift Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, starting 10/19/2026 and ending 01/17/2027.
Responsibilities: Caring for vented patients with respiratory therapist support, managing cardiac and insulin drips, following protocols for DKA patients, responding to Rapid Response and Code Blue events, assisting with tele rhythm strips interpretation, and supporting newer staff.
Required Qualifications: VT RN license or multistate compact license; BLS; ACLS; NIHSS; 3-4 years critical care experience preferred; 1 year minimum experience.
