This position involves providing quality patient care within the ICU setting, ensuring safety, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. The RN will supervise nursing staff and contribute to patient education and discharge planning.
Job Details
Position Description: RN maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees. START ASAP. 3 months; potential to extend through holidays. Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS Certification and ACLS Certification; valid nursing license; valid state drivers license; no specific experience requirement.
Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: Performs a nursing assessment within 8 hours of admission, develops and updates individualized care plans, provides patient and family education, and participates in team conferences. Manages direct patient care utilizing the nursing process, initiates discharge planning on the day of admission, and ensures accurate documentation. Delegates appropriately and provides supervision to ancillary nursing personnel. Maintains safety standards and participates in team-building activities.
