Job Summary
Adult Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) position available in an organizations healthcare facility located in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role involves providing high-quality critical care to adult patients with complex medical conditions, including sepsis, respiratory failure, substance use disorders, endocrine disorders, and psychiatric conditions. The position offers a supportive team environment with a focus on patient-centered care.
Job Details
- Schedule: Dayshift on Saturdays and Sundays, with a third shift during the week, totaling a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid licensing as a Registered Nurse (RN), ACLS certification, BLS certification, a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, comprehensive assessment skills, experience caring for septic patients, and mechanically ventilated patients with hemodynamic monitoring devices. Education requirements include current licensure and certifications, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and Epic electronic medical records.
- Additional Information: The role requires flexible team players with positive attitudes and empathetic personalities. Attire includes navy scrubs, with hoodies or non-organization sweatshirts considered unacceptable attire. Orientation includes completing modules on the first day, Epic training (if necessary), and one day of unit orientation. The reporting location is within the organizations Tower building, with parking in designated employee spots.
