Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse position in Carlsbad, New Mexico. This role involves providing patient total care in a 12-bed ICU setting, managing ventilators, titratable drips, and hygiene care for critically ill patients. The assignment is for a duration of 13 weeks, beginning on August 31, 2026, with a focus on night shifts.

Job Details:

• Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico
• Shift: Nights, 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. (12 hours)
• Schedule: 36 hours per week minimum
• Certifications and Education Requirements: 2+ years ICU experience, BLS, ACLS required; ER and Med Surg experience preferred; TNCC preferred. Experience with vents, titratable drips, medication mixing, and patient hygiene preferred.
• Additional Information:
  • Floating to Emergency Room and Med Surg departments required, with specific procedures for float rotation and override situations.
  • No call required.
  • FINGERPRINTS for all New Mexico travelers are required (candidate agency must be registered with the state of New Mexico).
  • EMR system utilized: MedHost.
  • Scrub color: Any.
  • Holidays required.
  • No minimum experience beyond required qualifications.
