Job Summary: The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse position is located in Woodruff, Wisconsin. This role involves providing high-quality care on a rotating shift schedule in a 10-bed ICU and intermediate care unit, with responsibilities including handling diverse patient needs across multiple units and floating to other facilities as required. The position emphasizes flexibility, clinical expertise, and compliance with facility policies to deliver exceptional patient care.
Job Details:
Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Wisconsin RN license, BLS, ACLS; Associate Degree or Certificate; 0 years minimum experience with preference for at least 2 years and prior travel assignment experience; location in Wisconsin.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree.
Unit Information: 10 bed ICU and intermediate care unit, with a patient ratio of 1:2 in ICU and 1:3-1:4 in IMC and MS; 1:5-1:6 ratio in MS.
Additional Information: Floating to other units including Rhinelander, Eagle River, and Tomahawk based on scheduling; EPIC charting experience preferred. Scrub color is flexible. During flu season, travelers declining flu and COVID vaccinations are required to wear masks at all times, in accordance with facility policy.
Shift Requirements: Variable start date beginning 09/07/2026, with every other weekend and holiday rotation.
Deployment Details: GSA hours are not guaranteed during orientation; set hours are guaranteed generally, with exceptions during holidays and low census periods.
