Job Summary
The healthcare provider is seeking an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse for a float position within the ICU department. Located at a hospital setting, this role involves providing care to adult and geriatric patients, with responsibilities that may include float to different ICU floors or lower acuity units. The position requires working nights for a specified contract duration with flexibility to meet unit needs.

Job Details

• Position Description: Float Pool ICU RN This is a float position that may require coverage across different ICU floors or lower acuity units, including tele floor. Clinicians must be open to working three or more major holidays.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI; Education: minimum of a diploma or higher in nursing; Location: must hold a valid license accepted in the specific state, with a compact license preferred; Experience: at least 1 year of ICU experience; Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations and familiarity with Epic charting system.
• Responsibilities: Providing direct bedside patient care, managing ventilated patients, arterial line management, central line care, and other ICU-specific procedures. Floating to various ICU floors, adhering to unit protocols and safety standards.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI; Additional items as specified are required upon submission.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours weekly, with shifts scheduled on your availability and unit needs.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must respond to prior work at Providence facilities, provide 2 references within the last 3 years covering at least 1 year of employment, and be prepared for possible floating to sister facilities.
