Job Summary Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse in the healthcare setting. This role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The position includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to support patient recovery and well-being.

Shift Time: Nights
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) from an accredited School of Nursing, current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, and 0 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree of Nursing and certification as appropriate for the unit or service are preferred.
Responsibilities include performing health assessments, health teaching, health counseling, therapy and treatment planning, patient referral, treatment plan review, documentation, resource utilization, consultation, delegation, and supervision.
The role may require the nurse to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications, and to be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
