Job Summary:
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) healthcare professional position is based in an inpatient medical and surgical unit with a focus on critically ill patients. The role involves providing specialized care to a diverse patient population, including COVID-19 patients, with responsibilities aligned to the units case mix and standards of care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: WI RN license (Aspirus requires American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) certifications), BLS, ACLS, at least 2 years of ICU and Med/Surg experience, travel experience required, Associate Degree or Certificate.
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified.
• Float: Must be willing to float to Aspirus Stevens Point, Plover, and Riverview; float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The unit has 11 beds for COVID-19 patients located on one end of the unit, with the rest for general surgical and medical patients. The environment requires a hard-working, resilient, and confident team player who manages change well and is assertive in skills. Scrub colors are dark blue. The contract is for 13 weeks starting October 5, 2026, ending January 2, 2027. The position requires participation in holiday rotations and adherence to flu and COVID vaccination policies, including mask-wearing during flu season if declined vaccination. No guaranteed hours during orientation week. On-call may be required for low census hours, which will count toward hours worked, and call-back pay is available if called back to the facility.
