Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nurse position available in a medical-surgical intensive care setting. This role involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients requiring critical interventions. The position requires dedication to patient safety and clinical excellence, with a focus on ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS); valid state or compact license in hand; previous ICU experience preferred; minimum 0 years of experience; experience with charting in Epic; ability to manage multiple clinical responsibilities including arterial line management, ventilator management, and patient assessment.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior charge nurse experience; familiarity with trauma level I and II care; travel experience preferred; experience with complex procedures such as ECMO, intra-aortic balloon pump, and transcatheter procedures.
• Additional Information: Role involves working in a fast-paced ICU environment with a daily census of 14 patients, utilizing interdisciplinary support such as respiratory therapy, physical therapy, and pharmacy. The unit is equipped with specialized equipment including CRRT and other advanced monitoring tools. Orientation includes 36 hours of training.
• Submittal Requirements: Candidates must have a state or compact license in hand at the time of submittal; all required core items/labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing.
