ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. This role requires a commitment to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, with responsibilities including monitoring critically ill patients, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care procedures.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
• Conduct regular assessments of patients' conditions and vital signs.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in a timely manner.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in care planning and evaluation of patient progress.
• Maintain clear and accurate medical records and documentation.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatments.
• Be willing to float to similar units as necessary.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 24 months of recent ICU experience within the last 12 months.
• Current Wyoming state license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications from approved vendors.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Must possess a valid driver's license for residency verification.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.

Work Schedule and Requirements

• Scheduled for 36 hours per week, with 24 hours guaranteed.
• Must be available to work two weekends every four weeks.
• No requests for time off (RTO) during the first week of assignment; RTO cannot exceed 7 days overall.
