Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse in Moses Lake, Washington. This role involves functioning as both a caregiver and care manager, providing direct patient care while overseeing and coordinating the work of other healthcare team members. The position requires a thorough understanding of patient care services, sound judgment, and adherence to clinical standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; current Washington State RN Licensure; Healthcare Provider (HCP) Level of Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire, via AHA or equivalent; experience as an acute care registered nurse preferred; minimum one year of RN experience preferred for specialty nursing departments.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS), and completion of moderate sedation training within specified timeframes.
- Additional Information: The role involves performing assessments, implementing care plans, patient teaching, documentation, delegation, and ensuring safety and compliance with protocols. The position may include functioning as a Charge Nurse, managing staff coverage, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Up to 24 hours of call time may be available at no cost during the assignment.
