Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an ICU Nights position at a community hospital in Warsaw, IN, requiring critical care experience and an active IN or compact RN license.

Details

• Located in a 72-bed community hospital with a 14-bed ICU
• Patient population includes vent-dependent patients, those on IV drips, IV sedation, and post-procedure recoveries after hours
• Patient ratio is 2:1 or 3:1 depending on acuity
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every 3rd weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• Floating may be required to MS Telemetry with a 6:1 ratio, or MS overflow/PCU at 1:5
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• Active IN or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of start)
• 1–2 years of critical care experience required
• Critical care clinical skills required; ECMO and trauma ERRT experience are not required
• Current, valid driver's license required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include managing vent-dependent patients, IV drips, IV sedation, and occasional post-procedure recoveries after hours
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible
• RTO requests must be for less than one full week
• 13-week contract
