Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The role involves coordinating and implementing patient care for critically ill patients in the ICU. The nurse will ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient care aligned with organizational standards and patient needs. Job Details

  • Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid New Mexico Registered Nurse license or current Compact state license; BLS (American Heart Association); ACLS (American Heart Association); TNCC certification; 2 years of experience in intensive care or similar clinical setting
  • Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of ICU patient care and unit protocols; strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Additional Information: The RN will obtain and document initial assessments, develop individualized care plans, perform point-of-care testing, and participate in patient education and discharge planning. The role emphasizes effective communication, collaboration, and a professional attitude to ensure patient safety and positive team dynamics. Flexibility and adaptability are essential to meet the unit's operational needs.
