Job Details
Position Type: Registered Nurse (RN) in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Location: Templeton, California
Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Graduate of a school of nursing; current RN license in state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from approved vendor within 6 months of hire or transfer; One-year recent acute care RN experience in an operating room
Responsibilities include ensuring patient needs are met, maintaining a quiet environment, promoting teamwork, upholding patient and staff privacy, accurate documentation, following infection control guidelines, conducting assessments, recognizing emergencies, administering medications, and participating in staff education and training
Essential Skills include documentation, emergency response, medication administration, and patient education
Additional Information: All associates must receive required vaccinations, with medical or religious exemptions possible; Adventist Health participates in E-Verify.
