Job Summary
ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nurse Night Shift Location unspecified. This role involves providing high-acuity patient care within a high-level float pool setting, which includes various specialized units such as critical care, neuro, cardiac, and surgical units. The position requires experienced RNs capable of managing complex patient conditions in a fast-paced environment while utilizing advanced equipment and following strict protocols.

Job Details

• Certifications: ACLS (American Heart Association), BLS (American Heart Association), NIHSS; WA or Compact License required.
• Education Requirements: Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience; floating experience preferred.
• Location Requirements: Candidates must hold a valid license to submit.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include patient assessment, titration of titratable drips such as Epi, Norepinephrine, Dobutamine, Propofol, Esmolol, Hydromorphone, Midazolam, and CIS, as well as monitoring and managing high-acuity patients across various units within the float pool.
• Ability to read Phillips monitors and handle diverse ventilator and respiratory support equipment including vents, BiPAP, and C-PAP is required.
• Self-scheduling is permitted, with a typical assignment of 1-2 patients depending on acuity.
• Unit/Department orientation includes general hospital onboarding, Cerner validation, and on-unit training.
• Updated as of 3/6/2026, with the start date of 10/19/2026 and end date of 01/18/2027.
• The position involves working three weekend shifts per schedule, with no standby requirements.
