Job Summary
ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nurse - General Hospital, Days Shift, located in the ICU department. This role involves providing high-acuity patient care in a high-demand environment, requiring prior experience in intensive care units, floating to various units, and working with electronic medical records systems. The position starts on October 19, 2026, and concludes on January 18, 2027.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Valid Washington or Compact License, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale); minimum of 2 years of ICU experience; must have EPIC electronic medical records experience; prior floating experience across different hospital units; ability to titrate drips such as Epi, Norepi, Dobutamine, Propofol, Esmolol, Hydromorphone, Midazolam, CIS; schedule includes dayshift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week; willingness to wait for license submission.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in high-acuity critical care settings.
• Additional Information: The unit includes a high acuity float pool covering Critical Care, Observation, Medical Surgical, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Short Stay Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Oncology, Telemetry, and Progressive Care units. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1-2 depending on acuity, with some assignments requiring titration of drips. Staffing is managed via self-scheduling, with three weekend shifts required per schedule and holiday coverage. Orientation includes general hospital training, Cerner validation, unit-specific onboarding, and on-unit orientation.
