Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) care in Baltimore, Maryland. The position involves providing specialized nursing care to surgical ICU patients, including trauma, post-surgical cases, and various specialty procedures within a dynamic surgical ICU environment. The role requires adherence to all relevant clinical standards and protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, 2 years of current, strong Surgical ICU experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Critical Care Certification, trauma course, Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) experience, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification, and prior travel assignment experience.
  • Additional Information: Orientation sessions are scheduled for the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month. Candidates must disclose any previous employment in any capacity within any healthcare facility within the Johns Hopkins health system, verified via work history. Prior employment within Johns Hopkins facilities as a staff, PRN, or travel employee requires candidates to be absent for at least one full year before applying as a traveler.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to area of like skill set.
