Job Summary:
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nurse position is located in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves providing specialized adult critical care, including management of patients with central lines, arterial lines, and vasopressor titration within a mixed unit setting combining ICU and floor-level oncology duties. The position is suited for experienced healthcare professionals committed to delivering high-quality critical care in a dynamic environment.

Job Details:

  • Location: Baltimore, MD
  • Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift
  • Schedule: Minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Start Date: 08/17/2026
  • Required Qualifications: RN License, BLS certification, ICU experience with central lines and arterial lines, vasopressor titration, management of patients with cardiac monitoring, minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Preferred Qualifications: Oncology experience, Aiaris pumps, CRRT experience, Critical Care Certification, trauma course, EPIC, ACLS
  • Patient Population: Adult oncology with bone marrow transplant, hematologic, and solid tumor malignancies
  • Orientations: 2nd and 4th Monday of each month
  • Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
  • Holiday Coverage: As needed by the unit
  • On Call: No on call required
  • Previous Employment with the organization: Candidates must disclose any prior work within any healthcare facilities under the Johns Hopkins system, regardless of duration, on their work history and coversheet.
