Job Summary:
An Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse is needed in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This position involves providing specialized critical care to adult patients in a 20-bed unit. The role requires adherence to unit-specific procedures and involves floating to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed. The assignment offers a dynamic environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.
Job Details:
- Shift: Days (8-hour shifts)
- Schedule: 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Start Date: 08/10/2026
- Required Qualifications: Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), 2 years current Critical Care experience, willingness to float, recent supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment.
- Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Patient Ratio: 1:2
- Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color
- Orientation: 8 hours non-billable
- Travel Requirements: Must be willing to float to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed.
- Profile Requirements: Active Massachusetts RN license, recent supervisory reference, current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications, NIHSS certification, own vehicle required, recent work history and skills checklist uploaded, home address must be included in profile.
- Special Notes: All travel candidates should have voicemail set up on their phones to ensure communication. Requests for time off must be noted and verified at upload; requests after offer or during interview will not be considered. Block scheduling is not available for this need.
