Job Details

• Position Description: ICU nurse needed for a critical care environment specializing in neuro, cardiovascular, trauma, stroke, and surgical patient populations. The unit includes high acuity neuro care, STEMI receiving, thromectomy-capable stroke center, and overflow beds for Level 2 trauma. The role involves managing ventilated patients, administering emergency medications, and performing complex clinical procedures.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, City Fire Card. Valid California license (or appropriate state license). 2 years of experience in ICU or similar critical care setting.
• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with high acuity neuro or trauma patients, Epic charting system experience.
• Additional Information: Travelers will float between ICU overflow, PCU, and telemetry units. The facility is a Magnet facility with advanced equipment including Alaris pumps, Phillips bedside monitors, vents, suction, and chest tubes. The unit features a multidisciplinary team supporting adult patients with complex diagnoses including trauma, stroke, cardiac, and surgical recoveries.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must include a response to whether they have ever worked at a facility within the organization and provide two references covering the past year, with at least six months in any role. LA fire card within the last 30 days is required.
