Description

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a rotating day/night 13-week assignment requiring active MA licensure and at least 1 year of travel nursing experience.

Details

• 18-bed adult medical, surgical, abdominal/lung transplant, and trauma ICU
• Cares for highly complex critically ill patients as part of a large multidisciplinary team
• 36 hours per week with a 50/50 rotating split between day and night shifts
• Schedule includes every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH)
• Uses Epic for EMR charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required, NO pending or conditional licenses accepted
• Current BLS certification (AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military accepted, though certain locations require AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care inpatient or current ICU experience required
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start, updated upon expiration (NURSYS and BON required)
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to some of the highest complexity ICU patients including transplant and trauma cases
• Work within a highly skilled, compassionate, multidisciplinary team focused on providing excellent, safe patient care
• Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility in Boston may be considered at a reduced rate
• Uses UKG/Kronos for timekeeping
