NOC Shift: 19:00 – 07:30, 3 × 12 hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)

Job Description

The ICU Registered Nurse will provide patient-centered care utilizing the nursing process while working collaboratively with the healthcare team. This includes assessing, implementing, and evaluating care needed by assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. The RN will float to various units, including all ICUs, step-down units, IMCU, and ED for ICU holds/borders, with an inclusive approach to women’s and family services as required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patient care requirements.
• Implement care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Float to various units as assigned, adhering to established ratios not exceeding 1:3.
• Provide leadership to nursing support staff in the provision of patient care.
• Direct patient care according to standards of nursing practice and hospital policies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred).
• 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in ICU (No new grads).
• Current PA Registered Nurse License (Required).
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (Required).
• TNCC certification (Preferred).
