Job Summary The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to provide patient care in a healthcare facility located in Crescent City, California. This position involves working night shifts with a schedule of 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week. The role requires adherence to facility protocols and commitment to clinical excellence to support critically ill patients.
Job Details
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license, at least 2 years of clinical experience, ICU experience, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications, proficiency in managing arterial lines, ventilator management, infusion titrations, and complex patient monitoring
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, charge experience, community hospital background, and intensive care certifications
Additional Information: Candidates must be comfortable with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-5. Possibility to float to Emergency Room (ER) or medical/surgical units as needed. A minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred, with successful upload of applicable certifications and licensure. All compliance documentation must be completed within 10 days of the start date, including labs and work history verification.
