Job Summary: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in Modesto, California. This position involves providing high-quality, holistic care to adult patients in an acute care setting. The role includes patient assessment, coordinating care delivery, and educating patients and their families while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: CA RN Licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS (within 180 days of hire), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course within 180 days of hire), NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale within 90 days), at least 2 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Community hospital experience, trauma level I or II experience, travel experience required.
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS* (within 180 days of start), TNCC* (within 180 days of start).
Skills: Arterial line management, assist with chest tube procedures, BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, central line care/management, trauma and stroke management, emergency medications, advanced monitoring, airway management, and procedural sedation.
Additional Information: Shift begins on 09/15/2026. Requires compliance with hospital policies, industry standards, and applicable regulations. Must complete labs within 3-5 days of contract signing and provide verifiable work history for the past 7 years.
