Job Summary Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients within the ICU setting, requiring advanced skills in managing ventilators, arterial lines, and emergency medications. The position is scheduled for dayshift, with a commitment of 12-hour shifts and at least 36 hours per week.
Education/Experience: CA RN License, at least 2-3 years of ICU experience, previous travel experience preferred
Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Responsibilities include managing arterial lines, ventilator systems, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, and providing high-level patient care in an ICU setting
Required qualifications: CA RN License, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, previous ICU experience of at least 2 years, familiarity with Epic electronic charting system
Additional information: Experience with managing ports, chest tubes, infection prevention, and interpretation of arterial blood gases and dysrhythmias is preferred. Candidates must complete required modules during orientation.
