This role involves providing specialized critical care to adult and geriatric patient populations in a community hospital setting, with a focus on conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, and Stroke. The position offers a dedicated schedule aligned with standard shifts, contributing to a regional referral center with accreditation and trauma designation.
Job Details:
Position: Registered Nurse (RN) ICU (Intensive Care Unit)
Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Years of Experience: 2 years required, minimum of 0 total experience
Schedule: Days, 3x12-hour shifts per week, minimum of 36 hours weekly
Additional Information: The ICU unit includes 16 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2, equipped with Baxter pumps and electronic health records (EHR) via Medhost. The unit cares for adult and geriatric patients with a range of diagnoses, including cardiovascular, respiratory, trauma, and neurological conditions. Experience with travel assignments is preferred.
