Job Description
The ICU unit is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various ICU specialties, including Trauma, Neuro, and Cardiothoracic care.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, ensuring timely responses to changes.
- Utilize advanced equipment such as CRRT and Prismaflex.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Floating to all units except Behavioral and ER may be required as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, with 4-5 years preferred.
- Experience with CRRT and Prismaflex is required.
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
- Current RN licensure in New York and all active licenses.
- Skills checklist that matches ICU specialty is required.
- Up-to-date resume reflecting travel experience and prior employment.
