Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro ICU/SICU Days position requiring an active NY RN license, EPIC EMR experience, and 2 years of recent ICU experience.

Details

• Work in the Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care unit of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required
• AHA or RQI certifications required
• 2 years of recent ICU or Neuro ICU/SICU experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required
• Medical exemption from a licensed professional required for flu vaccine exemption; personal or religious declinations not accepted
• Must complete ICU competency testing with up to 2 attempts to pass

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to surgical and neuroscience ICU patients
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible from Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties
• More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with any required make-up shifts completed within 6 weeks
• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application
