Job Summary Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in en_US The organization seeks experienced ICU nurses to provide high-quality care in a 30-bed medical-surgical and progressive care unit. The position involves managing complex patient cases including respiratory support, intravenous medications, and cardiac monitoring, with a focus on safe patient outcomes and critical thinking skills.

Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA) required
Education Requirements: RN license in a SD or compact state
Years of Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in ICU or Medical-Surgical setting
Schedule: Straight night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week, working every other weekend and holiday
Float: Float rotation may be required
Additional responsibilities include collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, completing unit-specific orientation, and adhering to dress code of navy blue scrubs
Orientation program includes competency validation, online modules, and shift onboarding at the organizations LEAD center
The position requires the ability to manage respiratory support devices such as BiPAP, CPAP, Heated High Flow, and oxygen titration, as well as moderate sedation and telemetry
Submission Requirements: Candidate must be licensed to submit and have at least 1 year of experience in the specialty
