Job Description:

Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive care in a trauma unit. Candidates must have experience with ICP monitoring and ventriculostomies. Duties include evaluating patient conditions, administering treatment, and ensuring optimal patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and monitor patient’s progress.
• Administer and titrate drips including vasopressors and sedation.
• Collaborate with Intensivist and other team members to ensure effective care.
• Interpret telemetry strips and manage patients with complex diagnoses.
• Participate in unit-specific orientation and adhere to hospital policies.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of ICU specialty experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
• Experience with trauma, neuro-strokes, head injuries, and post-TPA patients.
• Previous travel experience preferred.
• Must be able to float to different units as needed.
