Job Summary
An ICU (Intensive Care Unit) nurse position is available in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing advanced patient care within the ICU, managing complex clinical cases including non-ST elevated myocardial infarctions (non-STEMIs), cerebrovascular accidents (CVA), multi-organ failure (MOF), sepsis, respiratory failure, and post-operative complications. The position requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and the ability to interpret Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM) data.

Job Details

• Location: Sacramento area
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, starting at 07:00 and ending at 07:30, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid license to practice as an RN, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association, NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification, and a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with bedside procedures such as Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEEs) and bronchoscopies, ability to document and communicate effectively during multidisciplinary rounds, and familiarity with Cerner charting system.
• Responsibilities: Providing direct patient care in a high-acuity ICU setting, participating in multidisciplinary rounds, completing bedside procedures, and managing urgent and emergent patient needs.
• Schedule Details: The assignment begins on 11/10/2026 and concludes on 02/09/2027, with travel scheduled for nights. Self-scheduling and access to work schedules are available.
