Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse Nights, specializing in neuro-critical care, in an acute care setting. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for neuro patients, including those undergoing neurosurgical procedures, stroke management, and neuro-interventional radiology. The position supports a state-of-the-art neuro ICU with a focus on patient safety and quality outcomes.

Job Details

• Position Description: Neuro ICU, 12-hour night shifts, starting 10/13/2026 and ending 01/19/2027. The unit has a strong Stroke Program and advanced neuro-center facilities, with a patient ratio of 1:1 to 2, primarily managing CVA, ICB, neuro surgeries, craniotomies, ventriculostomies, and neuro interventional radiology cases.
• Required Qualifications: Licensure to submit, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS certifications, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in neuro or ICU nursing.
• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Nurses will participate in rotating holidays, work with electronic medical records (Cerner), and support a hospitalist or intensivist presence in-house. Orientation includes 1-2 days on the floor with a preceptor. Float to sister facilities may be required.
