Job Summary Intensive Care Unit registered nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare organization located in Elko, Nevada. This role involves providing specialized acute patient care in a 7-bed ICU setting, working flexible schedules with rotating shifts. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of managing high-acuity patients and adhering to established clinical protocols.
Job Details
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid ACLS and BLS certifications, a minimum of 2 years of ICU RN experience, and current licensure to practice in Nevada.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ART lines, central lines, ventilators, BIPAP, post cardiac catheterization care, post-surgical care, moderate sedation, chest tube management, electrolyte management, telemetry, and management of common conditions such as COPD, CHF, respiratory failure, overdose, alcohol withdrawal, DKA, STEMI, AMI, and stroke.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: Candidates must start within 7-10 days of offer. Weekly orientation sessions are held on Mondays. The unit uses Med Host electronic health record system.
