Job Summary: The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) registered nurse position is based in an acute care setting. This role involves providing specialized patient care to critically ill individuals, adhering to established protocols and safety standards. The assignment is scheduled for nights, with a focus on delivering high-quality nursing services in a fast-paced environment.
Job Details:
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid registered nurse license in the state where care is provided, graduate of an accredited nursing program, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in nursing or related field, two (2) years of recent ICU nursing experience, ongoing NIH Stroke Scale certification, and CCRN certification are preferred.
Additional Information: This position requires the ability to work night shifts and to provide advanced patient care in critical situations. Candidates must be adaptable to a high-pressure environment and capable of following detailed protocols and SOPs for ICU care.
