Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing position is located in Burlingame, California. The role involves providing care on a specialized inpatient unit with a focus on critically ill adult and geriatric patients. The ICU float nurse will support multiple units including ICU, Surgical ICU, Telemetry, and Medical Surgery, ensuring comprehensive critical care delivery across various patient populations.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 08/10/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS); California Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; 4 years of ICU experience; experience with float to ICU, Surgical ICU, Telemetry, and Medical Surgical units.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with complex patient management including ports, arterial lines, chest tubes, ECMO, ventilator management, invasive monitoring, and advanced procedures.
  • Additional Information: This role requires float capabilities across inpatient units, supporting interdisciplinary teams including respiratory, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and others. Candidates must comply with facility-specific submission rules, including licensure verification and certifications uploaded within specified timeframes.
