This position involves delivering high-quality, coordinated nursing care to an assigned group of patients in a 12-hour night shift schedule. The role includes supervising nursing staff, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Job Details:
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor, AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification, AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification, facility-specific BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications: Acute care facility experience, 2 years of experience in ICU or related specialty
Additional Information: The position requires collecting relevant patient health data, analyzing assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient progress. Collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and compassionate care is essential. The successful candidate will participate in discharge planning, delegate duties appropriately, and provide ongoing education to patients and their families. All associates must receive mandated vaccinations as a condition of employment and adhere to organization policies, including participation in the E-Verify program. The role is based at a facility located in Sonora, CA, with the start date projected for 08/03/2026, and EMR documentation will be completed using Epic software.
