Job Summary ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nurse in California This position involves providing critical care within a multi-campus healthcare setting, with a focus on patient-centered care across various ICU and step-down units. The role includes floating between campuses and ensuring high-quality treatment for a diverse patient population.
Job Details
Certification and Education Requirements: California RN license, BLS (AHA), ACLS, NIHSS, and at least 4 years of ICU experience.
Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts on rotating days and nights, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities include managing ventilated patients, administering emergency medications, and providing specialized ICU care such as arterial line management, central line care, and neuro-critical care.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Submittal Requirements: Candidates must upload Nursys verification of California RN licensure, applicable certifications with valid expiration dates, and provide 2 references obtained within the last year.
Additional Information: Must complete labs within 3-5 days of contract signing; all compliance documents are due 10 days prior to start.
