Job Summary:
The organization is seeking experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurses for a night shift position at a medical facility in Wichita, Kansas. The role involves providing critical care in a 26-bed Coronary Care Unit, supporting complex patient needs with a team of qualified staff. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to manage acute care procedures and adhere to unit protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Candidates must have current acute care hospital ICU experience of at least 1 year, and possess BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications, all to be included in the submission packet. No time-off requests or special scheduling requests are permitted post-acceptance.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience using Meditech electronic medical record systems and prior travel experience to large facility ICU units.
• Additional Information: The unit features advanced equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia protocols, and cardioversion. The typical patient ratio is 1:2, with a team consisting of 13 RNs, one charge nurse, and one patient care tech scheduled per shift. The ideal candidate will be driven, organized, positive, and engaged. The facility's unit policies and guidelines are available for review.
