Concentric Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in San Antonio, Texas.

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Rotating Weekends | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Surgical ICU environment
- Perform and assist with procedures including chest tubes, intubations, central lines, arterial lines, NG tubes, Foley catheters, and dressing changes
- Utilize strong critical thinking skills to assess, plan, and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions
- Document patient care accurately using the facility's electronic documentation system
- Float to other units as required per facility floating policy
- Adhere to all unit guidelines including punctuality, badging, and attendance policies
Required Qualifications
- Active RN License for the state of Texas — temporary licenses will not be accepted
- Minimum 2–3 years of ICU experience required
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- NIH Stroke Certification
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- MICU or MSICU background
- Experience with Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
- Exposure to Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
- Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system
