• Position: ICU Registered Nurse / Critical Care RN
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Unit (CCU)
• Location: Plano, Texas
• Start Date: 10/05/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Shift Length: 12-hour night shifts
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Schedule: Every other weekend; call and floating as needed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,460 - $1,540

Job Requirements

• Active RN license required; temporary license will not be accepted
• Minimum 2 years of hospital nursing experience
• Minimum 2 years of ICU or specialty critical care experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Meditech experience preferred
• TNCC, CCRN, or TCRN preferred
• Strong critical care knowledge and comfort with high-acuity patient populations

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in a busy ICU/CCU setting
• Monitor patients closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Assist with advanced procedures, including central line insertions, arterial line insertions, thoracotomies, bedside trachs, and chest tube insertions
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to support excellent patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Maintain a professional, team-oriented approach in a high-acuity environment
• Follow unit standards for scheduling, floating, and professional appearance
