Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Trauma ICU – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: October 6, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: Days, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), 91-day assignment

Highlights:

• Level I Trauma ICU with 16 beds and 14 rooms, average daily census of 14 patients
• Manageable 1:2 patient ratios across all shifts
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the unit
• Float opportunities to ICU, IMC, and Telemetry units as needed
• 36-hour orientation provided to ensure smooth transition

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• PALS and TNCC certifications preferred
• Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Skills in BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV starts and maintenance required
• ICP monitoring, ventilator management, and Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Must not reside in the following Texas counties: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
