### Exciting Opportunity for an SICU RN **Job Description:** - Join a prestigious hospital in San Antonio, TX, as an RN in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU). - Shift Details: - 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A - Rotating weekends - Guaranteed 36 hours per week - Experience Required: - Minimum of 2-3 years ICU experience necessary - Must be skilled in critical thinking and patient care - Certifications Needed: - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - BLS (Basic Life Support) - NIH Stroke Certification - ACTIVE Texas RN License (temporary licenses are not accepted) - Preferred Skills: - Background in MICU and MSICU - Exposure to IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) and CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) - Experience with Meditech is a plus - Unit Responsibilities include: - Performing procedures such as chest tube insertions, intubations, and central lines - Managing patient care effectively and with compassion - Dress Code: - Navy scrub top and pants, navy or white scrub jacket - Clean and professional appearance; hair and beards must be neatly trimmed - Tattoos should be covered; visible piercings beyond ears are not permitted - Important Unit Policies: - Badging in and out is mandatory along with a full 30-minute lunch - Timeliness is crucial; clock in 6:38 AM/PM, tardiness begins at 6:46 AM/PM **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
