Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 10-bed ICU with patient ratios of 1:4–5
• Perform and assist with procedures including STEMI protocol, Stroke protocol, Conscious Sedation, Chest Tubes, Codes, and Intubation
• Operate and monitor equipment including Philips monitors, Lifepak 20e defibrillator, Lucas device, GE EKG machine, and Verathon bladder scanner
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR
• Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary team members across day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 3 years of recent ICU experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to respond with a sense of urgency
• Friendly, compassionate, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a team

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a charge nurse role demonstrating independent thinking and multitasking ability
• Familiarity with Meditech Expanse EMR
